Mahabalipuram Beach is set to welcome the World Surf League (WSL) Shore Temple Classic 2026 from 12–16 August 2026, bringing together approximately 100 athletes from 10 countries to compete across four divisions: Men's and Women's QS 2000 and Men's and Women's Pro Junior.
