The BDE (Events) role involves identifying potential clients, pitching event management services, and maintaining strong client relationships. You will also help in organizing and managing events, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving continuous business growth.

Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities in the event management sector.
Contribute to the business development strategy to align with company short- and long-term goals
Pitch event management services to prospective clients.
Identify, research and cultivate new business opportunities that drive new revenue to meet and exceed targets
Build and maintain strong relationships with key targets and industry influencers
Partner with prospective clients to understand their business needs, pain points, and business objectives to build rapport and identify how SESPL can be successful to support future projects
Define project requirements, negotiate and focus on winning and closing new business
Produce regular reports on sales activity, pipeline status, and analysis
Requirement to travel to industry conferences and client meetings

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in event management.
Strong network within the event management industry.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Customer-focused with a strategic mindset.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

An Event and Venue Specialist is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of events, including venue selection, logistics, and budget management, while also ensuring the venue is well-maintained and equipped to host events. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to manage relationships with vendors and stakeholders

Responsibilities
Develop and implement event plans, including setting objectives, creating timelines, and managing logistics (venue, catering, transportation, etc.).
Oversee venue maintenance, staffing, and equipment, ensuring it is properly equipped and maintained to host events.
Create and manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effectiveness.
Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage logistics with suppliers.
Collaborate with marketing teams to promote events through various channels, including social media and email campaigns.
Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement in future events.
Maintain regular communication with clients, understand their event requirements, and ensure their needs are met.
Supervise event staff, coordinate logistics, and ensure the event runs smoothly and efficiently on the day of the event.
Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to address any issues that may arise during the event.
Ensure compliance with legal, insurance, health, and safety regulations.

Skills & Qualifications:
Experience in all aspects of event planning, including budgeting, logistics, and vendor management.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
Ability to identify and resolve issues effectively and make sound decisions under pressure.
Proficiency in event management software, audiovisual equipment, and venue logistics.
Ability to lead and motivate event staff, delegate tasks effectively, and work collaboratively with others.
Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in event planning and venue management.
